Displacement

Displacement
by: Retsim Laudividni

There once was a crowd
gallivanting through their town
prideful and testy

Suddenly they halt
upon the city centre
jaws thudding to the pavement

The monstrosity
a formidable dropping
of tear jerking poo

Nothing but crickets
through the streets and alleyways
until the war cries

Release the bloodhounds
find all who stink of this shit
they will pay for this

Hey did you do this
no but you should ask next door
to know a bit more

It sure was not me
do not play those reindeer games
but watched it happen

Last I checked sherlock
whopping turds are not a crime
I say leave the pile

You think it was me
of course not says the liar
I am insulted

Hahahahaha
oh yeah I sure played my part
just love dookie here

One thought my good friends
what if you waited it out
let it dissipate

Unacceptable
we are removing this crud
whatever it takes

Spread the good word chums
all able bodied heroes
time to save the town

What a massive load
well what are we waiting for
charge with prejudice

Oh the density
unfathomably sticky
a stout enemy

Need reinforcements
anybody not with us
must be against us

Utter siege of crap
bogged down in the thick of it
clash of attrition

The monstrosity
stubbornly taking its toll
infecting the town

The repercussions
its adhesive quality
schmears like a snail trail

Homes skid marked and stained
plagued like a novel virus
casualties be damned

Few words are exchanged
mostly huffing and puffing
of the righteous ones

So what say you folks
of the unfolding events
approve or condemn

I cannot comment
I have been labeled as dumb
by the loud smart ones

The fecalphiles
bunch of uneducateds
they are less evolved

I have no regrets
some call us freedom fighters
shaping the new world

Look at what they did
flung doodoo that hit my kid
which now has me pissed

This may surprise you
enjoying the madness here
drama brings intrigue

No skin in this game
feel lucky to be left out
prefer it that way

Hehehehehe
every night I drop a deuce
make that gob bigger

Have friends on both sides
slipping into quite dark times
blinded fueled by hate

Garden is thriving
rich and fertile soil these days
friendly to farmers

A new dawn new day
staunch opposition prevails
the progressive way

Alas no more mound
victory is bittersweet
the mess is daunting

The poop is not gone
spread to the city limits
to all our wits end

Any lessons learned
yes you there way in the back
dung covered glasses

Not passing judgement
seems we are doing our best
to achieve ideals

I have some questions
those who were dissatisfied
are you better now

And the happy ones
who all has become displeased
and the neglected

Have things changed for you
what of the indifferent
has the needle moved

Take a look around
such collateral damage
such redundancy
